How do I start email marketing on an e-commerce website?

One thing to understand. If we market the product or service on social media platforms. We cant get better results every time because it is maintained, designed, and owned by companies. Companies have full access to the platform behaviour regarding the reach. But, if we are doing message or email marketing. Then we have maximum conversions, authenticity, and reach in our hands.

So, if people are telling Email marketing is going to die. It’s going to grow.

Now! how can you start email marketing for your e-commerce Website?

  1. Collect the mail from the visitors or customers from your website home page. Saying “Subscribe now to be updated with the latest products and discounts”.
  2. Conduct an online webinar or small online event related to your brand (providing value and helping viewers solving by answering their doubts). Through which you can gather a good email list. Which later on using the list, you can convert them into the customers.
  3. Create an informative blog page on your website. This will even help you in website SEO as well in driving the traffic towards your online store.
  4. Through mail, not only send the readers the product update or discounts. But, also send them informative blogs.
  5. Create a funnel. Understand the viewers/customer pain problem and build the solution. Tell them, I have a PDF or will conduct a webinar where they will find a solution to that problem. Now ask them to register to get access. Here, you can build a very good email list.
